Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Holmes who was named the 2024 Arkansas ACTE New Teacher of the Year! This is a huge honor, and we're so proud! Mrs. Holmes has hit the ground running in her first two years as an educator. She's inspiring students daily to explore healthcare as a career.
Attention Bomber Families: school supplies (besides backpacks and lunch boxes) are provided again this year!
Are you interested in sponsoring a local child's early literacy? Here's some good information about how you can do that!
It's time to fill out your child's Free/Reduced Meal Application! Here's a link to our Food Service webpage where you can fill out a digital form or download a paper copy. Every year we have families who are surprised they qualify, so please take a moment to fill this out.

OUTDATED RECORDS TO BE DESTROYED
The Mountain Home School District will be destroying all outdated special education and 504 records prior to June 2018. These records are maintained for six years after a student has graduated, dropped, or moved from the district. According to state and federal guidelines, these records should be destroyed six years after a student no longer receives special education or 504 services or records are no longer needed to provide services.
All parties (18 years of age or older) who were served in special education programs/504, or parents/guardians of those students, have the right to review and request the records before they are destroyed. The special education records are available for pickup at the Mountain Home Special Education Office at 1001 S. Main Street. 504 records are available to pick up at the Mountain Home Public Schools Central office at 2465 Rodeo Drive. All offices are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If not requested, the records will be destroyed on July 5, 2024. Any questions or concerns regarding special education records may be addressed by calling (870)425-1247. In regards to 504, you may call (870)425-1201.
Families of MHPS students who were impacted by the recent tornados may qualify for support through local or federal sources. Please call Heather Hatman, the district’s Bridges Coordinator and McKinney-Vento representative, for more information. 870.421.0999
