Reminder: MHPS will not be in session during the week of Thanksgiving -- November 24-28.

Last week, students in the Foundations of Law Enforcement class had the opportunity to hear from Lt. Tabitha Maze and Cpl. Julie Tilley of the Baxter County Detention Center. The officers provided an in-depth overview of jail operations and prisoner transport procedures, giving students valuable insight into the daily responsibilities of detention personnel.
In addition, Lt. Maze and Cpl. Tilley discussed the qualifications and training required for employment at the detention center after graduation, helping students better understand the expectations and opportunities available in this important field of law enforcement.
