On Thursday, the Mountain Home Special Olympics Pickleball Team competed in the first-ever Area 2 Pickleball Event hosted right here in Mountain Home!
A huge thank you to Legacy Racquet and Fitness for generously hosting Special Olympics and supporting our athletes, Major thanks to Centennial Bank for providing lunch for all those that participated!
Now it’s time to gear up for Basketball in February—we can’t wait for what’s next!

Our next event will be the 6A conference tournament in Marion on Jan 31.
Pictured are: Kaleb Gray, Addison Chisenhall, Ricia Recktenwald, Eliza Obert, Taylor St. Clair, Taylen Broadway, Alena Alvarez, and Presley Mayfield.
From Mr. Kerr: "A positive to take away from today, besides the preparation, is that a gentleman from Rural Special told me that he thought that our students were very well-behaved and that it was a pleasure to play against a team with students like ours."

Bomber Update: We've had lots of questions about how our community partners can help students this time of year. Here are a couple ways! https://youtu.be/qm8W4Bf9MMM

We had 140 people who stayed and participated in trivia and more who were there before trivia started to look at student projects!

- Placing 1st in the Private Lands Habitat - Plant ID Competition was 7th grader, Bradley Tilley.

This month's MHJH First Security Leadership Award recipient is Paysli Barker. Paysli is always working hard, with a smile on her face. She is eager to learn and wants to ensure everything is done and done with excellence. She is not afraid to ask questions and is willing to help others when they get stuck. Paysli is a quiet presence in the classroom, but when she is called on, she will speak up and speak out and she truly exemplifies what a model student looks like.

If your child is homeschooled or enrolled in Private School but lives within the Mountain Home Public Schools boundaries, you are invited to attend an informational drop-in meeting regarding Special Education services that may be available.
Join our Special Education Supervisor by dropping in at Guy Berry College & Career Academy from 4:00-5:00 on November 13.
Email Mrs. Benton (Special Education Director) at gbenton@mhbombers.com if you have questions.

These students have worked hard and have NO zeros for math at all this year in Mrs. Hickman's class! Their quote: "This 🍩 is the only zero I have had all year." Congratulations, kids!
