Thanks to First Security Bank for this month's MHJH Leadership Award! Bentley Lemons was this month's recipient, and here's a brief summary of why she was nominated!
Good afternoon! Please see the photo below for our First Security Bank Leadership award winner for November. Here is a small summary of why she was nominated!
Bentley Lemons is a leader in and out of the classroom. She is involved in many extracurricular activities including dance, student council, flight crew, and many others. She is responsible, goal oriented, organized, and works well with her peers. One specific event I noticed her leadership skills was during Homecoming week. She led both Student Council and Flight Crew in decorating the Freshman Class Float including making decisions about theme and decor and helping organize who would do what on each night of decorating. Bentley is an exceptional student and works hard at everything does.

Scarlett consistently submits high-quality work and actively participates in class discussions, often contributing insightful ideas that enhance our learning environment. Beyond academics, Scarlett demonstrates strong leadership by helping classmates understand difficult concepts and working cooperatively in group settings. #SchoolBusSafetyWeek

It's #SchoolBusSafetyWeek, and we want to share a few reminders.
School safety starts at the bus stop. 🚌 🛑 Share these tips with your children:
⌚ Arrive at the bus stop five minutes early.
🚏 Stand five giant steps away from the curb.
🚌 Wait until the bus stops, the door opens, and the driver says it’s okay before
stepping onto the bus.
👁 Be sure the bus driver can always see you, and you can see the bus driver.

Last week at MHJH, Assistant Principal Jason Morris and Nurse Angie Horn helped a student repair her scooter. Thanks to our dedicated staff for going above and beyond to ensure our kids have what they need personally and academically!
