Bombers loved having breakfast for lunch last week! Thanks to our awesome food service department for your work! Our students are so excited about the meals and all the love you put into them!
Presenting our Kitchen Of The Month: Mountain Home Junior High
This team of BOMB cooks was pulled together over the summer and at the beginning of the year. They have shown marked growth in numbers served daily as well as a shrinkage in cost of goods. They were our first kitchen to introduce self-serve for our students and have consistently topped daily A'la Carte sales. If you ever visit this kitchen, you will find the epitome of a team/family atmosphere. They genuinely care about serving our Bombers the best cooked and best tasting food while staying within stringent government regulations. Mr. Merry, our food service supervisor, noted a quote from one of the teachers at MHJH to describe what they do daily: "the food here is like what I would make at home, but I'm getting to enjoy it at school."
Great job, JH kitchen!

It's not too late to turn in applications for free and reduced lunches! Online is the best option (EZmealapp.com) You may also setup a payment through (EZschoolpay.com)
They must be done every year; there is no carry over from one year to the next.
Also if your student qualifies for free/reduced meals, this covers the cost of one meal -- including milk. If your child goes back for a second on anything, it is not covered by the application and will end up going on the child's account.
It's National School Psychology Week, and we can't forget to mention our amazing school psych team: Mr. Matt Sutton, our district's School-Based Mental Health Coordinator, as well as our awesome examiners Mrs. Lashley, Mrs. Baxter, and Mr. O'Brien. Thank you for your hard work!
